Frequently Asked Questions

How much does stump removal cost?

Pricing depends on stump diameter, depth, and access. Most residential stumps run between $150–$400. Text us a few photos and we'll give you a quote on the spot — no need to schedule a site visit just to get a price.

What's the difference between your packages?

Our Basic package grinds the stump below grade and leaves the wood chips as mulch. Standard includes full debris removal. Premium adds backfill and sod so the area looks completely restored. We'll recommend the right fit based on your plans for the space.

Do you remove the roots too?

Stump grinding removes the root ball directly beneath the stump. For surface roots extending into the lawn, we offer root grinding as an add-on — just let us know upfront.

Do I need to be home for the job?

Nope. As long as we have clear access to the stump, we can complete the work and text you before-and-after photos when we're done.

Can you access a backyard through a gate?

Yes — our equipment fits through most standard 36" gates. If access is tight, just mention it when you reach out and we'll confirm before scheduling.

What happens to the wood chips?

With our Basic package, wood chips are left on site as mulch. Standard and Premium packages include full removal and cleanup.

What size trees can you remove?

We handle small and medium tree removal. For very large trees near structures or protected species (such as mature oaks), we'll let you know upfront if it's outside our scope — we'd rather be honest than take on a job we can't do safely.

Can you remove the tree and the stump in one visit?

Yes — our full tree and stump packages are among our most popular services. One crew, one visit, fully cleared.

Do you handle storm damage?

Yes. If a tree has come down or is posing an immediate hazard, call us and we'll do our best to get there quickly.

Do you install new systems or just repair?

Both. We design and install new systems from scratch and repair or upgrade existing ones.

My sprinklers run but the lawn is still dry. Can you help?

Yes — this usually means a broken zone, a clogged head, or a coverage issue. We'll diagnose and fix it.

Do you work on commercial irrigation systems?

Yes. We work with HOAs, commercial properties, and multi-unit developments in addition to residential customers.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full liability insurance for residential and commercial work.
